These terms cover your use of So Annoying! on iPhone, iPad and Mac. They are short because Apple's licence already covers most of it.

Apple's licence comes first

Your use of So Annoying! is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, the standard agreement for apps on the App Store. You can read it at apple.com/legal. It covers the licence, warranty, liability, export rules and governing law. These terms add only what that agreement does not say. If the two ever conflict, Apple's agreement wins.

Who you are dealing with

I am Mikail Yenigün, a private person in Sweden, and I make and sell So Annoying! on my own. Questions go to support@soannoying.app.

What the app does, and does not promise

So Annoying! is a Safari content blocker and a Safari web extension. It removes ads, cookie banners and other pop ups on your device, using block lists and rules that I update. Websites change all the time, and some are built to get past blockers. So I do not promise that every ad or banner is removed, or that every site keeps working exactly as before. If a site breaks, pause the app for that site from the So Annoying! button in Safari and report it, and I will try to fix it.

The free plan

Your first week has no limit. After that the free plan removes five things a day that the web extension has to fix while a page loads. The block lists Safari applies on its own never count against that limit and keep working. The limit is counted per device and resets every day.

Unlimited

Unlimited removes the daily limit. You can buy it three ways, all through Apple's in app purchase: a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or once for good. The price is shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy.

The subscriptions auto renew. Apple charges your Apple Account at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can cancel at any time in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions. A cancelled subscription runs to the end of the period you paid for.

The one time purchase is a licence to use Unlimited for as long as the app is offered, tied to your Apple Account. It is not a promise that the app will exist forever.

Apple handles billing, receipts and refunds. I never see your payment details and I cannot refund a purchase myself. To ask for a refund, use Apple's own process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

All three purchases support Family Sharing, so the people in your Apple family group can use Unlimited as Apple's Family Sharing allows.

Acceptable use

Use the app to make the web less annoying, not to break the law or the security of a website. Do not use it to interfere with a site beyond hiding what the app is made to hide. Some sites ask you to pay for their content. I do not endorse using the app to get around that, and the app is not built for it.

Changes and ending

The rules the app fetches change often, and the server that provides them can change or stop. The app itself can change, and I can stop offering it. I can also change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and the current version is always at this address.

Your rights as a consumer

Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under EU law and Swedish law. Where these terms say less than the law gives you, the law applies.
